The External Slide Out Caravan Kitchen (Caravan Restoration Project)

In this video we take a look at the slide out kitchen that we installed into the old caravan during this restoration. The kitchen pulls out from underneath the front bed in the caravan and includes a small sink, 2 burner gas stove and space for a Waeco 30 litre fridge drawer.
We talk through a couple of the considerations that we had to make when making the installation such as it's location and how it limited what type of caravan awning that could be used.
The kitchen was purchased second hand and a special hole was cut into the caravan frame to suit the size of it. The kitchen sits on heavy duty drawer runners which are bolted through the floor.
