Sydney Secrets: Galston Gorge, driving Hornsby Heights to Galston via Galston Road

Galston Gorge and Galston Road is an odd road linking the northern Sydney area suburbs of Hornsby Heights and Galston. The road leads to the bottom of Galston Gorge and features several sharp hairpin turns, at an incline of about 5%.

Despite the strangeness of the road, it is a road heavily used by locals who need to get between the Galston and Hornsby Heights, with alternative routes taking 40 to 45 minutes longer.

In this short video we'll drive the road between Hornsby Heights and Galston, and then turn around and do the same thing again in reverse.
