As part of an ongoing Range Science series with United Firearms, today we're testing the Springfield Prodigy 4.25 in stock configuration versus a custom In-Line Grenade Port job by United Firearms, to see how the porting affects the recoil impulse and velocity with 115 and 124 grain 9mm ammunition. They also did a pretty awesome blue kryptek cerakote with blue splatter grips. Does it shoot as good as it looks? Let's find out!
Short Range Science videos like this one testing Ported versus Unported handguns will be sprinkled in between my standard format reviews. These will be shorter videos testing recoil and velocity changes when adding porting to individual guns, and will eventually lead to a longer compilation video towards the end of the year putting all of our test results in one convenient place. If you enjoy this type of content, make sure your subscribed so you don't miss any of the upcoming testing.
These short form videos will not get in the way of my standard review schedule, but rather help increase the frequency of videos I'm able to release. I have a ton of reviews in the works, including my Shadow Systems MR920P and Daniel Defense H9, which have both been fully filmed and just need to be edited. Tons of content on the way - stay tuned!
