Forgotten nature - a drying river

The climate in Poland has been changing for several years. Average temperatures increase year by year, while the amount of precipitation does not increase during the year. What's more, you can already see a downward trend in the summertime and the occurrence of periods when the rain does not appear at all. Recent years have also been warm winters without snowfall, which has a very important role in soaking the soil with water and supplementing the level of rivers and lakes. A characteristic image of spring in Poland was the thaw, which is currently lacking. All these elements make drought occur more and more often in Poland, which is illustrated by this year's water level in the Vistula river.

Zapomniana natura - wysychająca rzeka

Klimat w Polsce od kilku lat ulega przemianom. Średnie temperatury z roku na rok zwiększają się, a jednocześnie nie wzrasta ilość opadów w ciągu roku. Co więcej, można już zauważyć tendencję spadkową w czasie letnim oraz występowanie okresów, kiedy ten deszcz w ogóle się nie pojawia. Ostatnie lata to również ciepłe zimy bez opadów śniegu, które pełnią bardzo ważną funkcję w nasiąkaniu ziemi wodą oraz uzupełnianiu poziomu rzek i jezior. Charakterystycznym obrazem wiosny w Polsce były roztopy, których obecnie brakuje. Wszystkie te elementy sprawiają, że coraz częściej na terenie Polski występuję susza, czego obrazem jest tegoroczny poziom wody w Wiśle.
