GUNSHOT & CANAL CREEK, TOWING ON THE TELEGRAPH TRACK - CAPE YORK PART 3

Part 3 of our Cape York adventure is action-packed! We set off from Bramwell Junction - the gateway to Cape York - and tackle the PDR before towing the van into the legendary Old Telegraph Track. From the get-go, the narrow, undulating and technical tracks made for some serious 4WDing, and towing the camper added an extra layer of challenge. But every destination was absolutely worth it. We camped at the infamous Gunshot, where we spent a few days enjoying the constant carnage of that iconic vertical drop, before pushing further north to Canal Creek, one of our personal favourites on the Tele. The Conqueror hybrid proved itself in tough conditions, as did our mate’s 1997 F350 truck!
