Tribute to Benjamin Orr "Wake Me Up" by The Cars ~To Live in the Hearts of Others is not to Die~

This is a video I created for ~Wake Me Up~ to pay tribute to Benjamin on the 21st anniversary of his death and to celebrate his life and his incredible legacy. To live in the hearts of others is not to die, this is how I feel and I think his loved ones and fans would agree. 💙
My heart and thoughts go to his loved ones on this anniversary and of course to all his fans. 💙
I chose this song , it is a demo that was released on The Cars Deluxe Edition and to this day this song and also the Cap'n Swing version ~Indigo~ mean so much to me. I love the way Benjamin sings this, it remains hauntingly beautiful and unique even after all these decades.
Today is the 4th of October and it is the date on his grave however Benjamin did pass away in the late hours of the 3rd but I wanted to share some tribute videos on both of these days.


Because the purpose is to non-commercially share the legacy of Benjamin Orr and The Cars, this fan made video is being uploaded under the terms of Fair Use. No copyright infringement intended.
I used my own photos as a backdrop and do own copyright to these and used 2 free stock images of Boston for these montages. Some of these photos were black and white and I added colours and also some were turned into water colours or some small effects were added to these as some were pixelated, some were sketched.
I used photos of Benjamin and The Cars that I found online, I would like to thank all the wonderful photographers that have shared these images with all of us.
Especially today , it seems a perfect time to look back at the legacy of songs, images, music, performances Benjamin and The Cars have left for us to enjoy and say thank you.
