In this travel vlog, we're on the second night of my solo camping road trip and stayed at Dinosaur National Monument which is just outside of Vernal, Utah. I spent the night at the Echo Park campground which is probably one of the more remote yet most scenic places I've ever camped!
The campground is located down in a canyon carved out by the near by scenic Green River. The canyon cliff directly behind my campsite was over 500 feet tall! The river forms a bend which shaped the iconic Steamboat rock landmark in the canyon.
The area has a rich history with indigenous people living in the area for over a thousand years and more recently cattle ranching. On the way out, I explored an abandoned cattle ranch that is now being preserved by the National Park Service.
This beautiful park is a great place to explore on your own and is perfect for a campfire tale night under the stars!
