Om Namo Venkatesaya!" It’s such a beautiful photo—your little one looks so peaceful in front of the Ananda Nilayam.
Since you're planning a 2-day Tirupati Darshan with an infant, you’ve actually picked a very high-energy time! Today is December 28, 2025, which means you are visiting just two days before Vaikunta Ekadasi (Dec 30). While it will be very crowded, having an infant is your "VIP pass" to a much smoother experience.
Here is your vlog-style itinerary and a survival guide for your family trip.
🕒 The "Infant Privilege" (Supadam Entry)
Before the itinerary, remember the Golden Rule for parents with babies under 1 year:
Entrance: Use the Supadam Entrance (near the Vaikuntham Queue Complex).
Eligibility: Infants below 12 months old.
Who can join? Both parents and siblings (below 12 years). Grandparents or other relatives are usually not allowed through this specific gate.
Documents (Mandatory): Original Birth Certificate (or hospital discharge summary) and original Aadhaar Cards of both parents.
Timing: Generally open from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM (slots may vary during festivals, so try to reach by 11:30 AM).
🗓️ 2-Day Itinerary
Day 1: The Spiritual Ascent
Morning (9:00 AM): Arrive at Tirupati and check into your hotel. It is highly recommended to stay in Tirupati town for better hotel facilities for the baby.
Late Morning (10:30 AM): Travel to Tirumala via car. The drive is about 45–60 minutes. Keep a light sweater for the baby as the hilltop is breezy in December.
Afternoon (12:00 PM - 3:00 PM): Head to the Supadam Entrance. Since you have an infant, you bypass the massive Sarva Darshan (free) lines which currently have waiting times of 20+ hours! You should finish darshan in 2–3 hours.
Evening (4:00 PM): Collect your Laddus and visit Silathoranam (Natural Stone Arch) and Srivari Padalu. These are open spaces where the baby can breathe fresh air away from the temple crowds.
Night: Return to Tirupati for a quiet dinner and rest.
Day 2: Local Gems & Family Time
Morning (9:00 AM): Visit Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanoor. It’s tradition to visit here after seeing Lord Venkateswara.
Mid-Morning (11:00 AM): Visit the ISKCON Tirupati Temple. It’s very well-maintained, calm, and has a great vegetarian restaurant (Govinda’s) that is hygienic for families.
Afternoon (2:00 PM): If the baby isn't too tired, visit the SV Zoological Park. It is one of the largest zoos in Asia and features a "Lion Safari" you can do in an AC bus—very comfortable with an infant.
Evening (5:00 PM): Quick shopping for local wooden toys (Lepakshi) and departure.
🍼 Pro-Tips for the "Infant Vlog"
Baby Gear: Strollers are not allowed inside the main temple queue. Use a soft baby carrier (chest sling). It will save your arms during the 2-hour wait.
Feeding: You are allowed to carry milk bottles, water, and small containers of baby food/biscuits inside the Supadam line.
Dress Code: Traditional is a must. Men in Dhoti/Kurta, Women in Saree/Chudidar with Dupatta. Dress the baby in comfortable cotton traditional wear.
Weather: Late December in Tirupati is pleasant (around 20°C–25°C), but Tirumala can get chilly at night. Pack a light blanket.
