After three long, challenging days of hunting in the breathtaking Eastern Cape of South Africa, my best friends and I finally come face-to-face with the kudu bull of a lifetime!

In Episode 4 of this hunting series, we continue our relentless pursuit of the iconic giant kudu bull, known as the “grey ghost” for its uncanny ability to disappear into the bush. Hunting kudu is no easy task — it takes patience, perseverance, and respect for this magnificent animal. With their incredible eyesight, sharp hearing, and natural instincts, kudu are one of Africa’s most challenging and rewarding animals to hunt.

We poured everything we had into this hunt — miles of walking, hours of glassing the hills, and plenty of determination. And finally, on Day 3, when exhaustion was setting in, we spot the dream kudu bull we’ve been chasing… and it’s bigger than we could have imagined.
