On September 10 & 11, 2016 the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum celebrated its 55th Birthday during its 6th annual Railfest. For the event both of their 100+ year old ex-Southern steam locomotives were fired up and in service on the local. Also running was ex-NCStL diesel 710, which hauled the Chickamauga Turn and Dinner on the Diner on Saturday. Saturday also saw a surprise freight move being made, with 4501 hauling a boxcar from Allied Metals to the NS interchange.
