TRAVEL SKETCHBOOK #3 Himachal Pradesh, India. This sketchbook is a quiet record of my journeys through Himachal Pradesh in India, drawn across time. The sketches were made on location during visits in 2000, 2007, and 2014, and later revisited through post-travel drawings—layering memory with observation.
Mountains, valleys, and shifting light return in different forms on these pages, reflecting not just the landscape, but how my way of seeing has evolved over the years. Ink lines, textures, and unfinished spaces all hold fragments of time spent walking, observing, and absorbing the Himalayas. I have mostly used watercolours, ink pen and micron pens. In some sketch I also tried working with Alcohol markers, colour pens and micron pens.
