Hey everyone, thought I'd release a compilation of all the V set videos I've taken over the last year or so as they continue to be retired. Apparently V21 was moved to Broadmeadow for storage yesterday, which is funny because I was on it and filmed the walkthrough of the full set the day before so I'm really thankful I did. Hopefully it's spared from being scrapped, because basically all the carriages on it are one-of-a-kind second batch V set cars. DCM8032 has been the only DCM car left since 2011, and together with DTM8032 they are the only second batch power cars left in service. DCT9032 was part of the first second batch V set, whose 48th anniversary of entering service was yesterday and it is the only carriage from that train still in service. The only other carriage on V21, DTD9036, is the only DTD car however that isn't as impressive as they're essentially the same as the DCT cars except for their history. What this has told me is you should go out and ride a V set, and document it, as you never know when your last chance will be with that set. Take care and thanks for watching!
