🔧 To enhance the functionality of my IKEA VIKA ARTUR Trestle Desk, I decided to add wheels for easier mobility. This modification allows me to move the desk around more easily, making it versatile for different tasks and spaces.
🎨 My desk is great because I can adjust the height for sitting, standing, or even tilt it for drawing and painting. It also has shelves for extra storage and a light box for drawing or tracing, which makes it perfect for creative work.
🛍️ The VIKA ARTUR trestles and the BLECKET drawing table top are no longer available at IKEA, but if you're interested, they have a similar trestle called MITTBACK. It’s a bit smaller than the VIKA ARTUR, and while IKEA doesn’t offer a drawing table top like the BLECKET anymore, you can always DIY one!
