This is day two of riding through Yellowstone National Park from Gardiner, MT to West Yellowstone, MT, a 55 mile ride. Yesterday we rode up from West Yellowstone, MT and spent the night in Gardiner, MT. The park just opened to cyclist and is closed to car traffic, minus a few park employees and staff. I rode with Bryan and Jaime Williams. This is a great way to see the park. We were lucky with the weather, temps in the 50s. We did have head winds but not that bad. Saw lots of Bison, some Elk in Mammoth and a pronghorn at the beginning. No bears. We did carry bear spray.
