This product are rings that make round circles for applique which is really hard! They come in different sizes conveniently organized on rings in a cute pouch! Since applique often needs several of the same size, the larger pouch comes with 2 rings to keep you popping along.

The first step is best done on a hard surface. Start by placing the desired ring size on the surface and then place the fabric with the right side down on the ring. Place the smaller ring on top and press down until the original ring sort of hugs it. Then, use your scissors to cut about 1/4 inch around the outer ring. Use starch - either your favorite (Carol's is Best Press!) or the Applipops homemade version that is brushed on - and get the edges wet. Then, begin folding the excess fabric over the inner circle. Make sure you get rid of any points! Using an iron, press around the circle from the outside in so there are no pointed edges. Give it time to cool completely - it will not turn out right if it is not completely cool. Maybe use this time to work on another Applipops!

When your Applipop is cool, pop out and off your two Applipops rings and admire your perfectly round fabric! You can use the small iron to press the edges again without the ring. Make sure you don't push back and forth with your iron - it is best to literally just press the iron to finish the crease.

These can be layered to provide dimension and sized to whatever size you need. They can be used in existing patterns, quilts, or really any sewing projects. Send us some ways you use this new product to myproject
