The Spanish Interior Ministry says that at least 39 people were killed and dozens more were injured when two high-speed trains collided. The accident occurred overnight in the southern region of Andalusia. The trains were carrying hundreds of passengers, many of whom were trapped inside the wreckage. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
