National Indigenous Peoples Day for us is a day to ignite meaningful conversations and strengthen our relationships with community — to learn, grow, and continue building a better Canada for everyone.
As we recognize we live and learn on the ancestral, traditional, unceded and occupied territories of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations it’s important not only to reflect — but to take action.
We honour and uplift Indigenous Peoples as powerful sources of healing, wisdom, and love. By learning about the systemic injustices and ongoing challenges they face, we deepen our understanding of why it’s essential to stand in solidarity — not just today, but every day.
