The teacher and theatre director Mary Ward was surprised by Michael Aspel in December 1997 for the television programme This Is Your Life.

In an exclusive interview for the BigRedBook website recorded in October 2015 Mary Ward, and her colleague from Chickenshed Theatre, Jo Collins, recall their memories of appearing on the programme.
