In an interview, 50 Cent declined to reveal the sources for the unreleased, "stolen" footage featured in the new Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning, likening the confidentiality to that of a journalist protecting their own sources. When a journalist from GQ asked how the production team obtained never-before-seen footage of Sean Combs in the days before his September 2024 arrest, 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) responded, "You're a journalist, right? You're not going to reveal your sources, so why would you ask me to reveal my sources?"
