RULES OF MY NUZLOCKE:
1. Limited Encounters (In-Game Gifts/Trades ALLOWED): only first encounter each area, if fainted of flees no second chance
2. Dead Pokémon: any fainted Pokémon is considered dead and must be released/boxed
3. Mandatory Nicknames: must nickname all of their Pokémon, for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds
4. No Resets: may not voluntarily soft-reset to undo progress
5. No cheating (Rare Candies after beating each gym leader ALLOWED): no cheating devices unless to make game harder; can use rare candies to level up after beating a gym leader to his/her ace's level cap
6. Full Wipe: game over if all party faints (even if there are Pokémon in the Storage System)
7. Set Mode: battle style to "Set" instead of "Switch" making game harder (can't switch mid-battle after beating a Pokémon)
8. No Items (except held items): no potions DURING BATTLES except held items
9. No Child Support (Exp. Share ALLOWED): no day care
10. Species/Dupes Clause: can retry a new encounter if the first one belongs to same species or duplicate of an already caught Pokémon before
11. Shiny Clause: allowed to catch a shiny (not voluntarily searched) regardless of 'first encounter'; if the shiny is the first encounter, then no second encounter
12. HM Helper: may catch another Pokémon solely for using HMs if there is no other Pokémon available to use from the Nuzlocke
