Tonbridge Castle Walk 2025: 900 Year Old Motte and Bailey Castle [4K60fps]

Take a stroll with me around the magnificent Tonbridge Castle in Kent, England, captured in stunning 4K60fps on 28th January 2025.

Built in the 11th century by the River Medway in Tonbridge, this iconic motte-and-bailey castle boasts over 900 years of history and remains one of the most well-preserved examples in the country.

During my visit, the castle was undergoing essential roof restoration work, so you’ll notice scaffolding on the historic structure. Out front, tree surgeons were busy making lots of noise and ensuring the safety of visitors by removing dangerous branches. Despite these modern touches, the castle’s gate house grandeur and its stunning surroundings shine through.
