It was created using the Gameplay Ability System, one of the powerful features of Unreal Engine 5.
The character has the ability to equip a weapon as a basic ability, and when equipped with a weapon, the weapon's melee attack ability is granted, allowing combo attacks.
The weapon has Light Attack, Heavy Attack, and unequip abilities. The combo attacks are Light Attack - Light Attack - Light Attack - Light Attack and Heavy Attack - Heavy Attack, and after the third Light Attack, you can choose whether to do the last Light Attack or Finish Attack with a Heavy Attack. If you watch the video, you can see that the Heavy Attack is used as the finishing attack after three Light Attacks.
Each attack is played using Anim Montage, and slow motion is created at the highlight moment of the attack using AnimNotifyState. Also, all of these abilities are managed through Gameplay Tag.
And you can check through debugging that it has Attribute Data through Attribute Set.
