Menzies Research Centre’s Freya Leach discusses the “unbelievable” train delays amid pay disputes between the RTBU and the government.
The RTBU are demanding a 32 per cent pay rise over four years.
“You can’t cave to them,” she said.
Ms Leach said if the government concedes, then “all of a sudden, the whole state will be held ransom by the unions”.
