The French Market is moving! On May 2, 2015, the Downtown Lisle French Market will open in a beautiful new location, on Garfield Avenue adjacent to beautiful PrairieWalk Pond. The new location is just two blocks west of its former home, the Metra Parking Lot. PrairieWalk Pond will serve as a wonderful backdrop to the market. This 4.5-acre natural area features more than 100 native plants/grasses, a walking trail circling a two-acre pond, a free splash pad for tots, a children's play area, gazebo and more.
The market will continue to feature a variety of different vendors selling fresh baked goods, locally grown produce, unique artisan creations, music and more. Parking is free and conveniently located adjacent to the market, on Burlington Avenue and Main Street. There is no admission charge, so bring the whole family and friendly pets on a leash are also welcome.
