EXCITING UPDATES ON MY OFF GRID HOMESTEAD AFTER TIME AWAY IN CANADA

Sorry for the gap between videos, I've been in Canada for almost three weeks visiting friends and family and it's been wonderful to disconnect for a bit. I'll share some footage from that trip and it really was a joy spending time back home after 2.5 years away. It's a lovely time to visit and it was great to escape the crazy heat here in Central Portugal, as a bonus!

But now that I'm back, I've got a lot of things to update you on. I take a tour around the garden and visit my trees... including some that haven't made it through this heatwave. Water is always an issue in the summer and with the extreme heat, keeping things waterer has been a tricky balance due to not always having enough to pump and fill the tanks. Sinead did a great job though through some insane conditions and the garden looks amazing!

I talk a bit about my water systems, sample some of the season's first fruit from my trees, and we visit Sinead to see what she's been up to down at her yurt while I've been away. There's lots of laughs and fun in this one and I think you'll like it!
