Da Shan, or Mark Rowswell, has made a name for himself as a Canadian-born performer of Chinese cross-talk comedy. In recent years he's begun exploring Western-style stand-up comedy, which is enjoying a surge in popularity in China. We spoke with him about his experiences with Chinese comedy, and what it's like to be China's "most famous foreigner."
