ABOUT MIKE COPEMAN
Mike Copeman is 69 years old and was born and raised near Edmonton, Alberta. He now resides in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, with his wife. They have three adult children and nine grandchildren. Mike retired in 2018 due to his diagnosis. He spent 30 years as a self-employed professional photographer, specializing in commercial, industrial, architectural, and rodeo photography. His passion for rodeo photography took him across Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan, as well as to locations like Kissimmee, Florida, and Las Vegas, NV. Following rodeo dress code, Mike wore long sleeves, jeans, and a hat while working in the arenas—though he now wishes he had worn sunscreen as well.
