Heated Cooled Cup Holder Install Chrysler 300 S AWD $254

Short Video (photos) of my Heated / Cooled cup holder swap 2016 Chrysler 300 S awd - this is what I did, and it worked for me. I have wanted these since I tried them years ago, and I am so excited that Wesley (FB forum) asked this question, because now I have these in my car!! The video is a series of photos showing how I installed, following someone else's overview (Michael Langevin, thanks!). I bought the less expensive older model (link below), and it fits, it heats and cools. It's the same connector (pics in video) and while the size is slightly different, it works. Easy Steps – Photos are in the video above to show the steps, differences, and compare the two different parts.

1. Open center console
2. Put seats all the way down and back
3. Pull side panels out using tool that wont scratch, back clips will pop out.
4. Pull up shifter panel - pull upward, took a little effort but don't pull too hard. (We then disconnected and put it aside so it didn't get damaged)
5. Remove bezel around cup holder - there are 6 Philips head screws that will need to be removed.
6. The slider might slip back but this is ok. We removed it once we pulled the cup holder out.
7. Pull cup holder up and forward / out. Disconnect.
8. Replace 10a fuse with 20a mini fuse (we used mini, it looks like it was a micro but there are other minis so we went with mini, you can check your fuse box to be sure)
9. Plug in heated / cooled cup holder. At this point because we had swapped the fuses already we tested to make sure it works. Within 30 seconds the sockets were hot/cold.
10. When you put the heated / cooled cup holder in, the fan opening goes down toward the drivers side. I was sitting in the drivers seat in the one photo where it looks like I am pointing to a random opening. When you place it in, hold it towards the drivers side until it is in with the fan going into the lower area.
11. Put everything back together!
