Ziyarat Ashura. Ziyarat Ashura (Arabic: زیارة عاشوراء) is a Shia salutatory prayer to Husayn ibn Ali and the martyrs of the Battle of Karbala. The prayer is part of the liturgy used in pilgrimages to the shrine of Husayn in Karbala.
