Bigger Caves and DOLPHIN SURFIN'!! Let's Play Crystalis (NES) Ep. 5

Welcome back to Crystalis for NES!

In this episode, we make some ice bridges to go to some cool places! The first place we go to is a town of only women called Amazones. They REALLY don't want men in their town, but that's okay... we can just put them to sleep with our Paralysis magic and go around town as we please, haha! Blizzard Bracelet early, score!

After they wake up from Paralysis and chase us out of town (not actually, but that's my headcanon), we make another ice bridge back in the overworld near Portoa, go through a cave, and end up in a field with a dangerous bug that uses Stun Spore on us. But that's okay, we get the Kirisa Plant! Not sure what it's used for yet, but neat!

Then, we build ANOTHER ice bridge and go through ANOTHER cave. Mr. Grumpy Boat Owner Guy really doesn't wanna talk to us, but he is probably just frustrated that he lost his Fog Lamp. Geez, we are always finding stuff for people. They are almost as forgetful as I am in real life!

But after we get the Fog Lamp from this cave and return it to him, he suddenly has a change of heart and lets us use his boat any time we want. The boat takes us to a beach, and on the beach we use the Shell Flute to call the dolphin that we healed in the last episode. Woohoo!! Now we can jet ski on a dolphin! This is one of my favorite parts of this game.

Finally, we explore the area and find multiple places to land, as well as multiple whirlpools and sea monsters. We also find a cave. This cave takes us to the Queen of Portoa's - I mean, Asina's - secret chamber! While surfing around, we find the Love Pendent.

Kensu tells us he is missing something, but we aren't able to give the Love Pendant to him, so is he missing something else? Find out in the next episode of Let's Play Crystalis! Thanks for tuning in!
