How to Change Piston and Piston ring Husqvarna L 65

Easy chainsaw to work on. Guiding for those special interested in this vintage Husqvarna L 65 model. Good saw that i like. Something about the cylinder I suspect...that is of good quality is my impression. Is that what they call nicasil or what is it about those cylinder walls....that seems to be so resistant against scoring ? Am I wrong or are they just as easy to score...as others in general ? I did the job here well and perfect...as home amateur project...I think.
BUT...I made a major disaster fault. The piston I bought from China and on e-bay...did came with those small spring lockers for the piston bolt. I did not see them...and they had jammed it up there in the hollow room inside the piston...in a little plastic emballasje. I thought it did not come with those lockers...so I used those old ones. Should not have done and should have used more time to look for them or looked more close on the order in my purchase list on e-bay. Result was...when I tested it...it scorn the piston after 30 second. The loose lock springs of course damaged the new piston and piston ring. So...now I ordered new piston and lost all the work time and 50 $. The thing is that the cylinder...which is hard to find on marked...seems fairly undamaged ! So...now I wait for new China Piston and will repeat the same job. Wish me good luck he he...as it is a very good saw and well worth it in my view ! :-)
