Tales of Phantasia #30 - Ancient City Thor & Mother Computer System OZ - (No Commentary)

Your next destination is the ancient city, Thor. You need to sail there from Venezia. Once you enter Thor, you cannot leave or return to the past, so make sure you have done everything important before traveling. After you take the boat, an event with Undine will occur and she will place the group inside a bubble that takes you to the undersea city.
When you arrive, the door to the upper-right is rusted shut, so go through the door directly above the entrance to reach a building. Pick up the key card glowing on the counter to get the "Card" key item, then leave the building.
Follow the path down until you reach a save point. Go right into the building and talk to the Supply Robo to receive Apple Gels, Orange Gels, Panacea Bottles, and Life Bottles. Return to the save point and head upward. Use the shining key card slot on the wall to open the door and enter the building.
Keep going until you reach a grid-like room filled with monsters on the map and also random encounters. Most of them are easy to avoid by running diagonally and slipping past on the side squares. Move to the bottom of the room and check the blue chests. One of them will randomly hold the "Common Key" key item. Use this on one of the doors at the top of the room. The correct door is also random and can lead back to the hallway, to a room with a treasure chest, or to a room with a save point. Every time you re-enter the grid room, the chest that holds the Common Key and the correct door will reset.
Make sure you reach the room with the treasure chest before moving on, since it contains the "God Breath" spellbook for Arche. After this, locate the room with the save point. Head upward for a boss fight. When you win, you'll receive the "Diamond" Pact Ring for Klarth, which increases all of his stats a little.
Afterward, continue upward to meet the Mother Computer System OZ. If you choose the second option, the party’s HP and TP will be restored. Choose the first option and say yes to raise the city from the sea floor.

Tales of Phantasia (テイルズ オブ ファンタジア) is a real-time action RPG developed by Wolf Team and published by Namco for the Super Famicom. It is the first game in the long-running Tales series originally released only in Japan in December 1995. For its time, it was a very advanced game thanks to Hiroya Hatsushiba’s “Flexible Voice Driver,” which allowed impressive voice acting and a fully voiced opening song, Yume wa Owaranai by Yoshida Yukari. The character designs by Kōsuke Fujishima gave it a distinct anime look, and it introduced the Linear Motion Battle System used throughout the series.
The PlayStation version (1998) improves the game with better graphics, smoother gameplay, redrawn characters and backgrounds, and a 3D world map. It also adds voiced skits, cooking, and titles these features that later became key elements in future Tales games.
