Описание:
On the Scarborough and Whitby Railway, this was one of two tunnels which opened with the line in 1885. At 279 yards, it has a slight curve and a gradient dropping down towards Whitby.
The line closed in 1965 and much of the trackbed is a footpath known as the Cinder Track.
