This is a video exploring the sounds of the MXR Layers pedal.
I've used this pretty much continuously since getting it as it has a magic sauce that creates wonderful textures.
I noticed that there weren't many demos of it using a synth, and as it is quite difficult to get to grips with what the pedal actually does, I thought it would be useful to some people to create just that.
It is meant as a sort of guide to what it sounds like and the various options it presents, and is therefore quite a long video as I have tried to cover every feature it offers (and it offers a lot!)
I have added chapter markers to help you navigate. There is no talking in the video but I have added on screen descriptions to show what is going on.
The Roland S-1 synth has its own delay and reverb turned off, so the only effects you hear are coming from the Layers pedal.
Thanks for watching.
