Just comparing entrance and exit holes on several different styles of broadheads. Single bevel, double bevel, replaceable, and yes, I had to throw a mechanical in there, so nobody felt left out. The single bevel is only 1 inch wide, but had a gaped hole IN and OUT.
The Muzzy is an excellent, replaceable blade broadhead, but penetration shows it needs weight to work well. Throw in a 100 grain insert to up your arrow weight and FOC, and all heads get more magical and lethal. Usually fly better too.
Notice both the single bevel and the Muzzy have a fracture line coming off the exit hole. They are definitely designed to crack bone, but be shooting arrow builds of 500 plus grains and FOC of 19 percent to increase the odds of that happening if you strike bone. Happy hunting. CurtDawg
