Tsunami Rock, Kingdom of Tonga ❤️🇹🇴🌴

The Tsunami Rock (Maka Sio'ata) is definitely an impressive sight as it sits there all alone. It's a large boulder which geologists have confirmed that it stems from the near reef. A good guess is that an underwater eruption, or submarine slide caused a powerful tsunami a few thousand years ago. BUT!! A much more fun version is the story I tell about Maui wanting to sleep in 😴

The Kingdom of Tonga became the Saga’s country no. 199 in an unbroken journey completely without flying.
