Turning a Rose Root Hollow Form Bowl (fixed with resin)

I was given a very weird and seemingly impossible piece of wood by a very considerate friend almost a year ago. He gave me a large rose root he had unearthed. I left it for almost a year to dry and today I decided to try something with it.

This project took me in directions I didn't plan for, but it was fun the whole time. I am very pleased with the result, especially given the potential for failure with such an unpredictable piece of wood.
