Soft Starters (Full Lecture)

In this lesson we'll introduce a solid state power electronics device known as a soft starter. Soft starters seamlessly ramp up applied voltage over a user adjustable ramp up time and can be used to limit inrush current and reduce mechanical stresses to the driven load. (Full Lecture)
