From The Ashes: One survivor. One burned house. A lot of ghosts.

This is Episode 1 of From The Ashes — a long-term Sims 3 story about survival, rebuilding, and being gently haunted by your own family.

The earliest events of this story were never recorded. Before this series began, a disastrous house fire wiped out an entire Sims family, leaving only one daughter alive: Diamond. The rest of her family now lives on as friendly backyard ghosts who visit often and constantly hog the bathrooms.

By the time this recording begins, Diamond is already deep into rebuilding her life. In this episode, the upstairs of the burned house is finally completed and work begins on the basement. Draco continues growing up and officially learns how to walk, Diamond meets a mysterious stepchild and she also becomes pregnant with Baby #2.
