I have been working on a new project in Payload dealing with authentication that I will be introducing here in a couple days. I needed a custom password field in the Payload admin which is not available as a field or as a field option so I built one using custom fields. However, it doesn't stop there. Based on a tip from one of you, I included end-to-end encryption and decryption, ensuring the value being saved to the database is not in plain text.
