This project demonstrates the simulation of a washing machine using the PIC16F877A microcontroller as part of my Embedded Systems Internship at Emertxe Information Technologies.
The washing machine was simulated using PICSIMLAB, with programming done in Embedded C using MPLAB X IDE and XC8 Compiler.
1)Key components used:
Microcontroller: PIC16F877A
CLCD (Character LCD)
Buzzer
Timers
Tactile Switches
Fan (motor simulation)
2)Features implemented:
Wash, Rinse, and Spin cycles.
Door safety alert using buzzer.
Display of wash status and timing on CLCD.

Embedded C programming.
Real-time system simulation.
Microcontroller interfacing.
Hands-on experience with simulation tools.
