Welcome to the 7th video of building a 2001 Audi A4 into a pro-am drift car. Today I'm installing the JXB Performance Center Carrier Bushing on the center driveshaft. The stock center support bearing carrier secures the driveshaft by utilizing a thin layer of rubber, allowing for approximately 20 lbs of force to shift it from the center to the end of its travel. While this design effectively minimizes the transmission of noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) to the cabin, the inherent weakness lies in the stock bushing. This vulnerability becomes more pronounced, particularly in harsh climates and high-performance vehicles. Making this a major upgrade for B5s and for Drift Cars.
