The title of Maggie and Sam is appropriate or perhaps it should be Maggie and Sams! Mark Allen was the original Sam Evans and was in episodes 5, 7, 11, 12, 19, 20 and 22. Sam wasn't seen for about 2 1/2 weeks and reappeared as David Ford in episode 35. David played Sam Evans and Andre Du Pres in the 1975-76 sequence for a total of 108 episodes.
Mark Allen's height is listed in IMDB as 6'1". David Ford was probably about 5'8".
