On this week’s Sportboat Roundup, our host Tonie Bangos covers the exciting new developments we’ve seen with the local offshore fleet finding good scores of yellowfin tuna, dorado, and kelp paddy yellowtail. We’re still looking for that big volume of late season fish to settle down but the last few days have been promising to say the very least.
Tonie recaps her recent 3 day on the Polaris Supreme with Captain Aliyar and crew, heading out west in search of the night bite that’s been providing all season long. They found several large schools of fish of scattered grade and put together an excellent count by the end of the trip.
She’s reporting from the docks at Davey’s Locker about to board the Thunderbird for another 1.5 days on the water. Stay tuned for the report next week!
