From 29 November to 8 December 2025, there will be no train services along the East-West Line between Bedok (EW5) and Tampines (EW2-DT32) and between Tanah Merah (EW4/CG) and Expo (CG1/DT35).
This is to facilitate works to connect to the new East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID), as well as a new platform at Tanah Merah (EW4/CG).
The new platform will be commisioned so as to convert the Changi Branch Line to the Thomson-East Coast Line in the 2040s.
Tanah Merah will become (EW4/TE35), Expo will become (DT35/TE34) and Changi Airport will become (TE33).
