EL AMIR Trio - Al Mawsili - El Candela (Madrid)

Many years back El Amir performed with his trio at the legendary "El Candela". This bar has been the main reference for flamenco for many decades. many of the most famous flamenco artists would gather there in the evening and during the night to have their drinks after the shows etc. Sometimes magical jams would happen and downstairs in the basement, it was like an old cave where they would sing, dance and play until the early morning hours. Some years later the venue started to organise official concerts there. El Amir was invited with his trio to performa and here you can see and hear the song "Abandolao Mediterráneo" from his album "9 Guitarras". That night he had an additional friends on hand percussion sitting in for this song, Antonio Sanchez.

Hace varios años, El Amir actuó con su trío en el mítico "El Candela". Este bar ha sido el principal referente del flamenco en Madrid desde hace muchas décadas. muchos de los artistas flamencos más famosos se reunían allí por la tarde y durante la noche para tomar unas copas después de los espectáculos.
Muchas veces se vivían veladas mágicas y abajo, en el sótano, era como una vieja cueva donde cantar, bailar y tocar hasta que saliera el sol.
Unos años más tarde, El Candela comenzó a organizar conciertos oficiales allí. El Amir fue invitado con su trío a actuar y aquí puedes ver y escuchar la canción "Abandolao Mediterráneo" de su disco "9 Guitarras". Esa noche hubo un invitado especial a la percusión, Antonio Sánchez.
