Carrier Deck Display Base 1/72 Italeri 1326 Quick Build Video | RWO Models

In this short video I show you my build of the US Carrier Deck display base in 1/72 scale by Italeri. I wanted to have a nice diorama base for carrier-based aircraft and came across this kit. I don’t have any adequate carrier planes at this time yet, but this will definitely change in the near future! As you might expect from Italeri the part quality is far from perfect, but there’s nothing to worry about since the kit builds very easily and straightforward.

The build was a side project during other builds, and I actually did not spend too much time on it. I’m sure you could do a lot more with this kit like adding more details as well as deck personnel figures. On the other hand the models that I expect to be presenting on this will hopefully be the actual eye-catchers!
