Maha Shivratri is a sacred and powerful celebration that honors Lord Shiva. This day commemorates the sacred union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, symbolizing the balance of cosmic energies. This night is also remembered for Lord Shiva’s cosmic dance, the Tandava, which signifies the cycles of creation and destruction. Furthermore, it honors the moment when Shiva consumed the deadly poison, during the churning of the ocean (Samudra Manthan) to save the universe from destruction, dispelling darkness and ignorance. This performance brings these stories to life through powerful choreography, blending traditional Indian dance styles with innovative storytelling.
Choreographed by Kareena Singh and Sherwin Parakel, this act promises to mesmerize and inspire, celebrating the spiritual essence of Maha Shivratri through movement, rhythm, and devotion.
