Looking for a budget-friendly entry-level turntable? The Fluance RT80 is a fantastic value for the money in addition to bringing style and elegance to the table.
In this video I demonstrate how to set up and configure the RT80, and do an overview of all its features.
A note on omissions from the video: after filming, I tested the auto stop feature. It does just stop the platter from spinning when the tonearm reaches the end of the record, but it also stops the platter from spinning when the tonearm is placed into its holder. So, if you leave it enabled, all you have to do is position the tonearm over a record and the platter will automatically start spinning, no switches involved. Also, something that I failed to mention is the included 45 adapter.
