What separates Olympians isn’t talent alone—it’s how they train and adjust their mind just as deliberately as they do with their bodies.
As a mental performance coach to Olympians and Olympic hopefuls across multiple sports, as well as a running coach to more than 150 Boston Marathon Qualifiers, National Team athletes, and first-time marathoners, I’ve learned one very simple thing:
YOUR MINDSET DETERMINES YOUR CEILING FAR MORE THAN YOUR MILEAGE DOES
In this video, I wanted to break down the 11 mindset shifts I return to constantly with every athlete I coach. These aren’t exactly traditional "motivational quotes", but rather truths that I've seen change careers, rebuild confidence, and create long-term performance.
